removing the entire hicas and switching to an na pump should drop about 75lbs.
going to 2 light weight race seats. -65lbs
switching to 15lb cf driveshaft. -20lbs
remove spare tire. -28lbs
switch to light pulley. -10lbs
remove ac system. -70lbs
remove heater core & climate contro. -40lbs
remove radio/speakers/amps/wires. -20lbs
remove carpets. -65lbs
*doing all of this should drop close to 400lbs, but of course than you have to add stuff like a roll cage and harness' which will add about 100. dont forget those who go up to 17 or 18 wheels, add another 60lbs.
so now you've still dropped about 240lbs give or take.
you can go even crazier and remove bumpers, panels, passenger seat, glove box, dash, but that would be stupid imho.
